Open Text Launches RedDot Partner Certification Program in North America
The Open Text Web Solutions Group Designs Program to Increase RedDot Partner Delivery Capabilities to Broader Customer Base
Chicago, IL - 2007-09-04 - Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC), the largest independent provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software and solutions, today announced the creation of a certification program for partners of RedDot, the Open Text Web Solutions Group. This newly revamped program enhances the current RedDot partner program certifying individual consultants and project managers that have successfully implemented content management solutions within the large RedDot customer base. This initiative is part of Open Text s continued commitment to enhancing and extending the reach and capabilities of its partners.
In order to sell and implement RedDot solutions and achieve advanced or premier status, partners must participate in a tiered certification process, including developer and implementation certification for all RedDot products. Certification is designed to educate the individuals within the partner organization who will manage client projects. To achieve certification, an individual must demonstrate that they have practical experience in large-scale implementations and extensive product knowledge.
RedDot has initiated the certification program with participation from current partners including, at the Premier level, Enthink, MarketNet and Purple Monkey, and at the Advanced level, Miller Systems, Indelible Media, Oshyn, Thrillworks, POP, Beaconfire, and Infused Solutions. These partners are providing customers with a more comprehensive content management and delivery solution.
RedDot s solutions comprise exactly the tools our customers want to enhance their Web initiatives, said Steven Saraceno, President of Purple Monkey Studios. We are pleased to be included in their partner program and consider it a key to our future success.
The certification program was developed with input from RedDot s Professional Services group, partners, support staff and customers.
Leading agencies, integrators, and technology firms recognize the value of RedDot s offering, said Detlef Kamps, General Manager of RedDot, in North America. RedDot s content management and delivery solutions coupled with innovative software and Web strategy will help our partners to increase revenues and offer customers the solutions and expertise they need to run an efficient e-business.
