Open Text Honored as Global ISV Partner of the Year at 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards

Chicago - 2006-07-13 - Today, Open Text (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC), a leading provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software, proudly announced it has won the Global ISV Partner of the Year Award of the 2006 Microsoft® Worldwide Partner Program Awards. The company was selected from an international field of top Microsoft Partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology. The awards were distributed at a ceremony on July 12 in Boston, MA, at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

The Microsoft Global ISV Partner of the Year Special Recognition Award is given to the global independent software vendor partner that has demonstrated outstanding leadership and is the most valuable global enterprise and medium business partner in delivering Microsoft solutions to our mutual enterprise customers in the past year. Open Text won this award by developing solutions that have significantly impacted enterprise customers' business.
