Open Text to Showcase ECM Solutions at SAPPHIRE 05

Copenhagen, Denmark - 2005-04-26 - Open Text (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSX: OTC), the world s largest provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, announced today it will showcase the breadth of its ECM portfolio at SAPPHIRE® 05, the annual SAP conference for SAP customers and prospects, being held in Copenhagen on 26 to 28 April 2005.

At SAPPHIRE 05, Open Text will showcase new integration solutions, for example, with a customer from the financial sector. During the event, Open Text will also deliver world-class solutions to enterprises worldwide, highlighting its continued support of SAP® solutions.

Open Text s strategy for supporting SAP solutions enables any type of business content whether it is structured or unstructured data to be integrated in SAP solution-based processes. Livelink® for SAP Solutions is the latest version of the IXOS product suite targeted at users of SAP solutions. Scenarios such as improved efficiency and productivity in invoice checking or lower IT costs for replacing legacy systems and data archiving, or reducing compliance risks, can now be enhanced with the new solution. Above all, occasional users of SAP solutions will benefit from new access options in a user-friendly environment, allowing customers to easily expand their central folders across the whole enterprise.

The event will also highlight the growing demand for ECM software, and how the market is being driven by the need among large organisations to better manage all business content in order to optimise processes, reduce total cost of ownership, and comply with new regulations worldwide.
