Cofiroute Combines Content Management and Collaboration to Enhance Communication

Chicago, Il - 2004-01-15 - Open Text Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSX: OTC), provider of Livelink®, the leading collaboration and content management software for the global enterprise, today announced that Cofiroute has signed an agreement selecting Livelink as its solution for enhancing business communication and managing enterprise content. Specializing in private concessionary transportation infrastructures, Cofiroute has financed, developed and currently operates a number of technologically sophisticated tollway infrastructures worldwide.

A fundamental part of Cofiroute s strategy over the past several years has been to take business communication into a new phase in which collective work, the dissemination of useful information, and the implementation of procedures are simplified in an innovative online environment.

To realize these project goals, Cofiroute selected Open Text s Livelink solution. The latest version of Cofiroute s website (www.cofiroute.fr) is built on Livelink functionality in an effort to effectively enhance communication. Livelink fulfills three key objectives of Cofiroute s strategy to improve communication:

  • Provides access to useful information and promotes the work accomplished by teams: Cofiweb, the organization s intranet, provides simple and rapid access to reference information designed to simplify daily business operations.
  • Automates processes: Livelink enables Cofiroute to implement useful processes to improve corporate performance. It simplifies the streamlining of collaborative processes for teams, regardless of geographic location.
  • Promotes collaborative work: Livelink s content and knowledge management functionality has enabled Cofiroute to improve productivity and increase measured efficiency.

Cofiroute has an excellent strategy for overcoming these geographic barriers and helping projects team be more productive. Livelink delivers the functionality global companies such as Cofiroute need to improve the management of information, and tie it into the collaborative work of people located around the world.
