Open Text to Host Annual General Meeting Using MeetingZone
Executives to Highlight Strategic Initiatives and Corporate Direction
Waterloo, ON - 2002-12-10 - Open Text Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSX: OTC), provider of Livelink®, the leading collaboration and knowledge management software for the global enterprise, today announced its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) Conference Centre in Toronto, Ontario, on Thursday, December 12th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The AGM will be broadcast over the internet via Livelink MeetingZone , a real-time virtual meeting tool, which will provide a dynamic collaborative environment and Web-based access to the meeting. Investors are invited to participate in the meeting online through the use of MeetingZone.
Open Text's senior management team will present an overview of corporate successes over the past year, as well as highlight strategies for future growth and profitability. Scheduled speakers include Open Text's President, John Shackleton, Chief Executive Office, Tom Jenkins, and Chief Financial Officer, Alan Hoverd.
Demonstration of exciting new products, including Livelink® 9.1, MeetingZone 2.0 and FirstClass®, will be available in the foyer from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.
