One of its business units has created several hundred Livelink projects to facilitate collaboration of both formal and ad hoc teams.

Dow Chemical

iRIMS has effectively consolidated Dow s records management activities, replacing three separate systems for managing both box storage of paper documents and indexes to millions of microfilm. iRIMS hold & freeze functionality, as well as its disposition and retention rules, enable Dow to effectively manage corporate records, legal, financial and tax information.

Best Library and Catalog Management Solution
Argonne National Laboratories

Argonne National Laboratory is a multidisciplinary research center. Its Library System provides access to scientific and technical literature in 10 on-site libraries and access to outside resources. Two separate sites, one for internal and another for publicly available services, enhances Argonne's ability to protect and leverage its intellectual assets.

Best Business Application
Siemens Private Limited

Siemens Livelink application, called Nexus, is a completely Web-based "employee self-service" solution. It automates administrative processes such as travel booking, expense authorizations and vacation authorization, integrating with SAP and a variety of third party systems to create a centralized process management venue for all employees.
Honorable Mention: Region of Peel

Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)

NAVSEA is using content and document management throughout the entire organization to reduce paper filing systems and manual processes. In conjunction with these efforts, NAVSEA has integrated Livelink with imaging capabilities to manage and converted millions of pages of hard copy documents into electronic files. Some business units process up to 90% of their documents electronically using Livelink.

Siemens Business Services

SBS has built a system based on Livelink that improves and streamlines the capture and sharing of knowledge assets across organizational and regional boundaries. Called knowledgemotion, the system has consolidated 47 internally isolated islands of information many of which were built on different tools to "Connect local knowledge to Siemens Business Services globally".
