Chicago, IL - 2002-06-11 - Open Text Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX. TSX: OTC), provider of Livelink®, the leading collaboration and knowledge management software for the global enterprise, today announced plans for a series of co-sponsored seminars and events with SAP, the world's leading provider of e-business software solutions. A leading provider of integrated collaboration and knowledge management solutions, Open Connect developed a set of portal iViews and modules to integrate Livelink into mySAP Enterprise Portals. As a result, portal users can work with a familiar portals look and feel while accessing Livelink.

The integration of mySAP and Livelink, using iViews 4 Livelink is designed to improve productivity and information quality, standardize the user's experience, and provide access to all of the collaboration and knowledge management functionality of Livelink.

Further demonstrating the functionality of the integration, Open Connect has introduced its new Website using mySAP Enterprise Portals at http://www.openconnect.ch/. The new site incorporates Open Connect's corporate intranet, based on Livelink.

"The success of Open Text's partnership with SAP has been built on a mutual commitment to delivering true business value and return on investment to our joint customers. Open Connect and Siemens Business Services contribute handsomely to that proposition," said Bill Forquer, Senior Vice President of Business Development, Open Text. "Open Text, SAP, and our partners will continue to develop joint strategies to further extend the added value our products offer."
