b2bScene , a division of Open Text, and PricewaterhouseCoopers have decided to explore opportunities for the joint development and external marketing of hosted vertical collaborative solutions. The development of these leading-edge hosted solutions will combine PricewaterhouseCoopers' extensive domain knowledge and market presence with b2bScene's eBusiness platform and technological capabilities.
"PricewaterhouseCoopers is excited about the opportunity to explore ways to work with b2bScene in identifying and developing innovative online collaborative applications," says Mike Wathen, PricewaterhouseCoopers E-Business Partner.
In order to pursue such a business relationship, PricewaterhouseCoopers has tendered its resignation as Open Text's independent auditor of record effective April 5, 2001. Open Text's Board of Directors has accepted the resignation.
Open Text has appointed KPMG LLP as new independent auditors.
