Extended Agreement Enables Lockheed Martin to Leverage the Power of Open Text's Collaborative Commerce Software for Improved Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness

Chicago, IL - 2001-03-05 - Open Text Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSE: OTC), a worldwide leader in collaborative commerce software for e-business, today announced an agreement with Lockheed Martin Systems Integration - Owego to provide the United States Air Force (USAF) with software from Open Text's Livelink® product family. Delivering robust workflow, document and knowledge management capabilities, Livelink demonstrates significant results: improved efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Under the agreement, Lockheed Martin Owego has the ability to act as a value-added reseller of Open Text's Livelink applications, providing an innovative method for the USAF to enhance its current computer systems. Lockheed Martin Owego's arrangement with Open Text is an extension of a program designed to modernize, integrate and sustain combat support information systems to be responsive to Air Force needs during wartime and peacetime.
