Ericsson Telecom Mexico Uses Livelink as Collaborative Business Tool

Open Text strengthens global leadership with first Affinity Partner in Latin America

Waterloo, ON - 2000-06-27 - Open Text Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSE: OTC), the leading provider of collaborative intranet, extranet and e-business applications, announced today that Ericsson Telecom Mexico chose Livelink®, Open Text's e-business platform, to share knowledge and manage workflows throughout its organization in Mexico. Livelink was deployed at Ericsson Telecom by Auracom, a reseller and systems integrator located in Los Alpes, Mexico, which recently signed on as Open Text's first Affinity Partner in Mexico.

Ericsson Telecom Mexico is using Livelink's collaborative enterprise capabilities, including virtual team collaboration, business process automation, enterprise group scheduling and information retrieval services, to manage Ericsson's SADI, an internal administrative information system that handles the flow of information between Vice Presidents and their divisions. Ericsson's marketing department is also leveraging Livelink's workflow functionality to more effectively manage the department's logistics workflow, as well as to track purchase orders and invoices.
