Stanley Stern Joins Open Text Board of Directors
Former CIBC Oppenheimer Technology Banking Director, Stanley Stern, appointed to Open Text Board

Stern as a member of its board of directors. Mr. Stern, Managing Director of S.T.I. Ventures Advisors LLC and formerly head of Technology Banking with CIBC Oppenheimer, adds more than 20 years of investment banking expertise to the Company's board.
Mr. Stern joined Oppenheimer & CO., Inc's investment banking unit in 1981 where he held a variety of investment banking positions, including head of Technology Investment Banking for the merged CIBC Oppenheimer. Mr. Stern is currently Managing Director of S.T.I. Ventures Advisors, the U.S.affiliate of an international investment group supporting leading-edge high-technology companies worldwide, and adding value by providing financial, strategic and technological support.
