Content on the go! How to promote and facilitate user adoption through fast, easy, and secure document access and sharing.

Innovations in the consumer Internet, such as DropBox and Box.net, continue to shape the way that we share and interact with information.  From file and photo sharing websites to cloud-based storage services, it’s becoming easier and faster to publish, share, and access information – anyplace and anytime. But businesses can’t let their users upload and store files in just any cloud. They need a simple, fast, reliable and highly secure way to share, sync, access, and manage information in the cloud. Now OpenText Tempo, the file transfer and synchronization service from OpenText, changes the way that you interact with business content. It puts content on the go, simplifies the content management experience, and allows users to easily sync, share, and store information across all the devices they use. In this session we will first and foremost introduce OpenText Tempo. We will also cover some other applications and user interfaces that can help drive ECM adoption and balance ease-of-use with compliance and governance needs.

ECM BPM – Connecting process and content to transform your business

In recent years business process management (BPM) has been one of the hottest investment areas for business, largely because of its focus on improving business effectiveness and efficiency, and its ability to transform the ways companies operate. The BPM term can refer to a business process improvement discipline, a related set of technologies, or often both.

While content oriented applications often include built in workflow or process capabilities, typically these capabilities are limited to management of content specific tasks (such as content review and approval). Business Process Management (BPM) products have been used extensively to manage and improve broader and more complex business processes, but often have strong content needs as part of them.

In this session you will get an introduction to BPM – what it is and how it can be used. You will also learn how to leverage integration between content and BPM oriented applications in order to deliver the best of both worlds—superior access to content in the context of superior management of business processes.
Speaker: Lars Bengtsson, OpenText

Are invoice processing functions draining your time and resources? For most companies, invoice processing is a manual effort – consuming your organization's and vendors' resources.

Manual processing and resolution efforts involve time-consuming historical research, communication with vendors, process documentation, requests for additional information from multiple parties, manual routing, and the labor-intensive process of monitoring and providing update reports on the status of unpaid invoices. Cash discounts are routinely missed, and due timelines may overrun – leading to additional workload from handling supplier inquiries. The SAP Invoice Management application by OpenText can help you resolve these challenges. Integrated with the SAP ERP application, SAP Invoice Management streamlines accounts payable (AP) operations. The application optimizes and simplifies the process of creating, managing, monitoring, and routing purchase orders and invoices for AP personnel and vendors. It processes invoices more efficiently and quickly and automatically routes problem invoices for resolution, approval, and payment.
