Content Day UK Revisited - See What You Missed

With each successive Content Day, we’re aware that we have an increasing number of solutions for your content needs. As a result the agenda grows year on year, yet the hours in the day to demonstrate the technology remain finite. That’s why we have designed the Content Day UK Revisited Webinar Series.

It is now possible to double the amount of sessions that you can see at Content Days. We have picked the twelve most popular sessions as webinars to run over the next six months until December 2012. Whether you missed sessions, double booked, had travel commitments or were unable to attend the event, now you don’t have to miss a thing. You can register for these online sessions in advance and we will even send you an automatic notification closer to the date of the webinar as a reminder.

If a session you couldn’t see, but were keen to see is not on our webinar schedule, we would love to hear from you. We are more than happy to add sessions at your request. Simply email us at contentdayuk@opentext.com and we will make the arrangements

Now you can make every day a content day with the Content Day UK Revisited Webinar Series!

Bring Order to Chaos: Real World Examples of Dynamic Case Management in Action

In this webinar discover how today’s successful companies don’t just compete on their products or services alone, they compete on process - how they deliver those products and services. However, not every process can be neatly defined. You know your goals and the information or steps required to make decisions and deliver the work. But how the work gets done may vary based on the unique situation or customer.

Whether you need to open accounts, process claims, or maintain property records, you need to know who has the work item, what has happened, where the documents are, and what's necessary to get the work done.

OpenText’s case management solutions help you manage these unstructured and typically most expensive and complex processes. Our solutions relate independent documents across the enterprise into a single virtual folder or ‘case'. You gain control over these cases whether it's a defined process, ad hoc process, or a combination of both.

ECM & BPM: Where Process and Content Connect

In recent years business process management (BPM) has been one of the hottest investment areas for business, largely because of its focus on improving business effectiveness and efficiency and its ability to transform the ways companies operate. The BPM term can refer to a business process improvement discipline, a related set of technologies, or often both.  While content oriented applications often include built in workflow or process capabilities, typically these capabilities are limited to management of content specific tasks (such as content review and approval).

Business Process Management (BPM) products have been used extensively to manage and improve broader and more complex business processes, but often have strong content needs as part of them. In this webinar you will get an introduction to BPM – what it is and how it can be used. You will also learn how to leverage integration between content and BPM oriented applications in order to deliver the best of both worlds—superior access to content in the context of superior management of business processes.

Social Networking as a Critical Business System? Case Study

Over the past two years, OpenText has invested in two trans-national government projects that have social software at their core:

* The Virtual G20 was borne out of a collaboration between OpenText and Canada Government.  It has become the de facto social platform and drives G20 summit planning.

* Commonwealth’s new Connects platform is central to their plans to centralising its citizen messaging and unifying its brand.  It also provides a central platform for members (citizens, governments, youth, business) to work effectively through a social software.

In this webinar we’ll explore the paths followed by both high profile organisations and uncover some of the challenges and benefits associated with implementing social as a core system.

Simplifying the Big Issues in Financial Data Management

Financial Services firms are global organisations which are both organisationally silo’d and under intense social and political scrutiny in most of their regional operations. Many countries are implementing new regulations to monitor and control banking activities, each global organisation must adhere to these rapidly developed and deployed initiatives. On top of this data volume is exploding. The number and types of conversations which need recording and monitoring are ever growing, from social content to voice to email.

OpenText, in partnership with Microsoft, can help you control both of the above through effective governance controls and procedures - paramount to meeting compliance objectives without unrealistic budgetary outlay or significant organisational IT change programs. Find out more in this webinar.
