  • Eugene Roman

    Chief Technology Officer, OpenText

    Mr. Roman joined OpenText in October 2008 as Chief Information Officer. In February 2010, Mr. Roman was appointed as Chief Technology Officer.

    Mr. Roman started his career with Nortel Networks Corporation in 1981 upon graduation from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Toronto. Mr. Roman has also worked in various groups within Bell Canada Enterprises Inc. (Bell), a Canadian communications company, where he was Group PresidentBell Systems & Technology, from 2005 to 2008, and led the effort to enable breakthroughs in productivity and performance and to deliver currentand next generationservices more efficiently by harnessing the power of Bells network. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Roman held the role of Chief Information and Technology Officer at Bell, integrating the critical resources of Information Systems/Information Technology, technology and processes to better deliver innovative programs.

    Currently Mr. Roman is on the Board of Directors of Ukrainian Credit Union Ltd. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, is a Certified Management Accountant, and is a recent graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program.

  • Lubor Ptacek

    Vice-President, Strategic Marketing & GM, Microsoft Solutions, OpenText

    Lubor Ptacek, is Vice President of Strategic Marketing and GM, Microsoft Solutions at OpenText. OpenText brings two decades of expertise supporting 100 million users in 114 countries.Working with our customers and partners, we bring together leading Content Expertsto help organizations capture and preserve corporate memory, increase brand equity, automate processes, mitigate risk, manage compliance and improve competitiveness.

    Mr. Ptacek joined OpenText in 2008 and as the Vice President of Product Marketing, he is responsible for overall product marketing activities for the entire suite of OpenText enterprise content management products. His responsibilities range from messaging and market intelligence to analyst and public relations. With 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, Mr. Ptacek has held several positions in marketing, product marketing, and product management. Prior to joining OpenText, Mr. Ptacek served as Sr. Director of Product, Industry and Partner Marketing at EMCs Content Management and Archiving division. Prior to EMC, Mr. Ptacek held various roles at Documentum, Vignette, and Novell.

    Mr. Ptacek holds a computer science degree from Technical University Ilmenau in Germany and he has an MBA from Santa Clara University in California.

  • Louis Mousseau

    Vice-President Enterprise Sales, North America, OpenText

    Louis Mousseau is Vice-President, Enterprise Sales North America, leading a team of 100 professionals responsible for driving sales efforts across Canada and the US.

    Louis joined OpenText in April 2010 with the acquisition of Nstein, a leading provider of content analytics solutions, where Louis was Managing Director, Nstein Europe. He joined Nstein Technology (EIN.V) in 2007 as VP Corporate Development. After completing the acquisition of Picdar, a leading provider of DAM solutions, Louis relocated to the UK to lead Nstein European operations.

    Louis started his professional career in 1996 at Fasken Martineau, an international business law and litigation firm. Louis specialized in corporate law, participating to M&A and IPO transactions for some of Canada’s top companies. Louis worked at Bell Canada from 1999 to 2003 where he held various leadership positions in Internet operations, helping Bell propel its Internet reach, online sales, and leverage of self-service channels. From 2004 to 2007, Louis held executive positions at Softvoyage, a provider of ERP and e-commerce solutions to the travel industry, and Mediagrif Interactive Technologies (MDF.TO), a global operator of e-business networks.

    Louis is fluent in English and French, has a MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal (1996), a Ll. B. in civil law from Université de Montréal (1993), and a member of the Québec Bar (1994). Louis was nominated in 2006 as a finalist of the ‘Young Executive’ category in the Arista BMO JCCM Contest.
