Congratulations Orlando 2005 Winners!

The LiveLinkUp Orlando 2005 GlobalStar Awards winners have demonstrated once again how ECM solutions can improve processes and provide superior return on investment.

Selected from a large number of customer applicants, ten finalist solutions were highlighted during the conference and four winners announced. The finalist solutions provide a comprehensive overview of the power of ECM to help companies manage information in global organizations.

Atos Origin

Atos Origin, a $5.8-billion global information technology services company, deployed a Livelink ECM-based system to centralize knowledge management for its 48,000 employees and to provide a single platform to distribute policies, procedures, and task lists company-wide. Currently at 16,000 users and increasing by 1,200 per month, the solution supports more than 250,000 files, 300 workflows, and 460 e-communities. The implementation has allowed Atos Origin to save time and to improve information sharing and project management.

EDS

EDS, a global provider of business and technology solutions with more than 117,000 employees, implemented a Livelink ECM-based document handling and collaboration system to improve business processes and consolidate the services of 18 countries and multiple functions into a Shared Services center.

Nortel

Nortel delivers communication solutions to hundreds of millions of people, Fortune 500 companies, and government institutions around the world. Nortel implemented a Livelink ECM-based information security system to keep intellectual capital secure while sharing it with internal and external users, also consolidating best practices.

U.S. Air Force

The U.S. Air Force's 46th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the premier test and evaluation center for the Air Force's air-delivered weapons, navigation, and command and control (C2) systems. A Livelink ECM-based document management system at the 46th Test Wing supports document creation, review, approval, signature, distribution, archive, and research, and leverages existing systems and applications. Developed within six months, the end-to-end, fully electronic process to produce and distribute "Test Directive" documents has improved traceability and management oversight, enabled versioning for document development history, and enhanced productivity and efficiency.
