Every year at our annual user conference, Enterprise World, OpenText hosts its eagerly anticipated awards ceremony to celebrate our customers' successes in deploying outstanding EIM solutions and to recognize Enterprise Champions within our customer user base.

GlobalStar Enterprise Awards

The GlobalStar Enterprise Awards showcase organizations around the world that are dedicated to achieving real business value and competitive advantage using OpenText's EIM solutions.

Ten finalists are chosen from all entries. A representative from each finalist organization will receive free roundtrip airfare, admission to Enterpise World, and three nights' accommodation.

All finalist solutions will be recognized at an awards ceremony. Winners will receive 500 GlobalStar points (worth US$500.00). In order to redeem the points, OpenText customers must officially register for GlobalStar by completing and submitting an online sign-up form.

All finalist and winning entries will be promoted through a nation-wide press release following the conference. In addition, all finalists will be announced in the Winners Circle.

GlobalStar Enterprise Awards Selection Criteria

The award categories are mapped to the business value drivers of Enterprise Information Management . EIM intensifies business insights, business impact, and process velocity, without compromising information governance and information security. All GlobalStar Enterprise Awards entries will be reviewed based on a Need/Value/Benefit analysis and the judges will consider which solutions enable the greatest benefits to end-users, provide for improved productivity levels, demonstrate functionality and innovation, and ensure potential for future growth.

Eligibility

All customers of OpenText and the OpenText Group companies are encouraged to submit an entry to the GlobalStar Enterprise Awards. If you have entered the awards program in previous years, you are still welcome to apply.

Submitting Entries

Enterprise Champion Awards

The Enterprise Champion Awards recognize individuals within our customer base who have championed EIM solutions within and outside of their organizations..

Enterprise Champions will be presented with a recognition award at the Enterprise World conference.

  • An engraved acrylic plaque for their desk
  • A public announcement on the OpenText corporate Web site
  • A tag against their name in OpenText Online Communities, the Knowledge Center, and any other OpenText Online sites where they have an account, identifying them as an Enterprise Champion
  • The opportunity to author an individual blog on OpenText Online Communities
  • An opportunity to deliver a public webcast jointly with OpenText on a topic of their choice during the next year
  • An opportunity for a special web meeting with OpenText product and solutions staff where they can connect with other Champions to network and learn from similar-minded executives

Enterprise Champion Selection Criteria

How do you recognize an Enterprise Champion? Think of those trusted individuals within the OpenText user base whom you can go to for answers; they always respond selflessly, make a difference, and are active within their own organization and/or in the larger user community, either online or in person.

Nominating Enterprise Champions

You are welcome to nominate yourself, another person within your organization, or another individual within the OpenText user community. You may nominate as many people as you think deserve to be recognized! To make a nomination, please go to the online Enterprise Champion nomination form and briefly let us know whom you would like to nominate and why.

GlobalStar Program

We encourage all customers to sign up for GlobalStar to be eligible to receive GlobalStar points for participation in the awards. GlobalStar is OpenText's customer rewards program where you are rewarded with GlobalStar points-redeemable for consulting, training, user conference admission, and many more opportunities-in return for your participation in reference activities. Each point is worth US $1.
